[ So long as Kaveh treats the book with the respect it deserves, Alhaitham lets him take it easily from his hands, fixing the older man with a pointed raise of his brow in turn now that his distractions have been removed. ]
Oh? And what were you thinking of spending time doing?
...a few things, actually. [ kaveh scoots a little closer, eventually moving into his lap. he sets a hand on his chest, playfully squeezing at it as he leans into a kiss him. ] I bought a couple of things I thought might be fun to play with. Indulge me, will you?
[ It's surprising, how comfortable and easy it is for Alhaitham to accept the way Kaveh just crawls straight into his lap and kisses him. Particularly since he's never had someone in this sort of proximity to him all his life. Even letting his hand fall to rest on on Kaveh's waist doesn't feel all that strange in spite of how new it is. ]

[ he sits back so he can look at alhaitham, his hands going to his shoulders and then gliding along his forearms until he's taking both of his hands in his own. he brings them close, giving his fingers a kiss, before guiding them over alhaitham's head and click... cuffing them. ] I owe you a little something... for taking care of me when I was afflicted with that dendro mark. I took a stroll through the red light district and found some things you might like... [ don't mind him tugging alhaitham's shirt up over his chest to rest awkwardly bunched under his chin. ]
Let's agree to disagree. [ he leans in and smirks against alhaitham's lips, a mischievous gleam in his eyes. ] I think handcuffs can be both, but I don't intend to plead my case with words. [ because that would be boring. ]

[ he presses one to his chest, drawing a circle around his nipple. ] Do you know why?
